Will my image stay private?

Your image is used for this one enlargement and then deleted, together with the result. There is no gallery, and nothing is used to train anything. The privacy page has the details.

What does this tool do?

Upscale image doubles the resolution of a photo or graphic without leaving it soft or blocky. Instead of stretching pixels, it rebuilds the image at the larger size, so edges stay crisp, textures hold together and text stays legible. Use it for a low-resolution photo, a logo or artwork, or a thumbnail that has to fill a larger space; clean sources gain the most.

How much larger does it get?

Twice the width and height — four times the pixels. A 600 px image comes back at 1200 px.

Will it add details that were not there?

It sharpens what is there; it does not invent content, and faces are left as they are. Heavily compressed sources gain less than clean ones.

How long does it take?

Usually under 20 seconds. Larger files take longer, in proportion to the pixel count.
