What does this tool do?
The Emoji & symbols library is every emoji Unicode lists, and the symbols a keyboard hides — arrows, maths, currencies, punctuation, box drawing, Greek — on one page. Search by name or keyword, narrow by group, click to copy; the ones you copied stay in a row at the top, and hovering a character shows its name and code point.
What is in the library?
Every emoji of Unicode 16.0 in its standard form, and a hand-picked set of symbols in six groups: arrows, maths, currencies, punctuation, box drawing and Greek letters. The table is part of the page; nothing is fetched.
How does the search work?
By the words in the name and in the group — type the start of any of them: fire, heart, arrow, euro. Several words narrow further: red heart. The emoji names are Unicode's own short names; the symbols are named as the standard names them.
Where are the skin tones?
The library lists each emoji once, in its base form; the tone is added by your keyboard or app — long-press or right-click the emoji after you paste it.
Why does an emoji look different on another device?
An emoji is a code point, not a picture: every system draws it with its own font, so the same heart or face differs a little between a phone, a laptop and a chat app, and a recent emoji may show as a box on an older system.
Where is the Recent row kept?
In this browser only, up to 24, most recent first. It is never sent anywhere; clear the site's data to forget it.
