Timer & stopwatch
Set a timer or run a stopwatch; the tab title counts with you.
Questions
What does this tool do?
The Timer & stopwatch is two tools in one panel. Set minutes and seconds or tap 5, 10 or 25 minutes and start: the tab title counts down with you, and at zero the page flashes and beeps; the stopwatch runs with laps you can copy as text.
Does it keep running in a background tab?
Yes. The page keeps the moment it started and computes the rest from the clock, so a tab the browser slowed down still shows the right time when you come back. The sound plays only while the tab exists.
What happens at zero?
The panel flashes and the browser plays three short beeps of its own — no audio file — as long as the tab is still open. If you have already allowed notifications for this site, a notification comes too; the page never asks for that permission.
Are there presets?
5, 10 and 25 minutes as chips — 25 is the classic pomodoro — or any minutes and seconds in the fields.
What does Copy laps give me?
One line per lap: the lap number, its split and the running total, separated by tabs, so it pastes into a spreadsheet as three columns.
Can I pause the timer?
Yes. Pause stops the countdown, Resume picks it up, and Reset takes it back to the time you set.
