Sketch on a board; export as PNG or PDF.

Questions

What does this tool do?

The Whiteboard is a large board for a quick sketch or a diagram: a pen, text, lines, arrows, rectangles and ellipses, with select, move and resize, undo and redo, and the board saved in this browser as you draw. Export it as a PNG, or print it to PDF.

What can I draw?

Freehand with the pen, text, a line, an arrow, a rectangle and an ellipse, in a few sizes. Select what you drew to move or resize it; undo and redo as far back as the session goes. One board of 3000 × 2000, scrollable; no images and no layers.

Where is the board saved?

In this browser only, automatically, as one board. Open the page again and it is there until you clear it; another browser or device starts empty.

How do I export?

PNG as a file with Export PNG. PDF goes through the browser's print dialog: choose Save as PDF there.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. With Select on, a drag on empty board pans it, a drag on a shape moves it, and two quick taps on a text open it for editing. Handles are bigger on a touch screen.

Which keys does it understand?

Delete or Backspace removes the selected shape, Escape drops the selection. Undo and Redo are buttons on the board.
